UN tests identify blood samples of two Israeli MIAs

The United Nations passed to the families of Israeli MIAs in Lebanon the results of blood tests conducted on samples taken from one of the kidnappers' vehicles.

The tests identified blood samples from St.-Sgt. Benny Avraham and Sgt. Adi Avitan.

The examination of the vehicle did not reveal blood from St.-Sgt. Omar Suwayed. Investigators believe he was transported by the Hizbullah kidnappers in a separate vehicle.

On Monday, the UN will deliver to family representatives personal items found at the scene of the kidnapping belonging to the three soldiers, Israel Radio reported.

The IDF declared all three fallen soldiers in October, a little over a year since their abduction.
